Site Security Controller

What you will do

• Establish and manage site security policies, instructions, procedures, and risk assessments in line with legislation and Government standards.
• Manage security assets, audits, musters, registers, records, and supporting documentation.
• Deliver security briefings and training, manage insider risk, and investigate and report site security incidents.
• Own site security onboarding, awareness, education, and exit processes in collaboration with the Personnel Security Controller.
• Prepare for and facilitate Government and Contracting Authority site visits and inspections.
• Contribute site security expertise to strategic planning and advise senior business leaders.

Requirements

• BSc degree or equivalent; a STEM or Legal discipline may be helpful but is not required.
• Relevant experience in compliance, security, regulatory affairs, defence, or national security.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present complex security information to varied audiences.
• Ability to challenge assumptions, assess reasoning, collaborate with stakeholders, and deputise for the Personnel Security Controller.
• Eligibility for UK security clearance is required.
• The role is not eligible for the UKVI sponsorship visa scheme.
