Security Vetting Administrator (FTC)

Location: Onsite five days a week at the Global Innovation and Technology Centre, Back Lane, Melbourn, Hertfordshire, SG8 6DP, UK

What you will do

• Support security vetting, compliance, and IT security activities across a wide range of projects.
• Take responsibility for administration supporting Melbourn operations.
• Coordinate with external government agencies, clients, and third-party organisations.
• Prepare reports and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Respond quickly to critical situations and meet tight deadlines while working independently.

Requirements

• Strong organisation, customer focus, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage tight deadlines, and respond quickly to critical situations.
• Experience with Microsoft products, including Word and Excel, and good reporting skills.
• Discretion, tact, and the ability to handle sensitive information.
• Applicants must be British citizens or have been continuously resident in the UK for the past five years to meet the stated security-clearance prerequisite.
• Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks are required; some roles may require higher levels of UK national security vetting.
