Underground Maintenance Planner Specialist

Location: Haile (US-Haile) Operations, United States; onsite role

What you will do

• Plan and schedule preventive maintenance for underground mobile and fixed plant assets using the Pronto Xi computerized maintenance management system.
• Coordinate labor, parts, shop space, tools, vendors, inventory, and other resources required for safe maintenance execution.
• Issue weekly maintenance schedules and integrate them with mine plans in cooperation with the Mining Technical Services Department.
• Audit planned work with supervisors and technicians, monitor work orders, and maintain accurate maintenance documentation.
• Track equipment KPIs, report performance, and support corrective actions and continuous improvement projects.
• Develop reliability improvements and engineering solutions for repetitive equipment failures with reliability engineers.

Requirements

• Mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering education or trade school qualifications.
• At least 5 years of experience as a maintenance planner working with mobile or fixed equipment, or related industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance planning and scheduling, preventive maintenance, asset management, and mechanical systems.
• Experience with maintenance ERP systems such as ProntoXi, SAP, JD Edwards, or Maximo.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to fault-find, provide direction, and escalate problems.
