Location: San Jose, CA, USA

Compensation: USD 32–34 per hour

What you will do

• Install, configure, upgrade, repair, and replace hardware and software components.
• Rack and stack servers and install systems supporting infrastructure and R&D activities, including lifting up to 50 lb.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and user issues while serving as the first point of contact for error reporting.
• Develop and maintain installation, configuration, and technical documentation.
• Conduct software and hardware tests, daily backups, and infrastructure support operations.
• Manage technical assets and inventory, including four physical asset audits per year.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience maintaining computer networks and systems.
• Experience deploying systems with Foreman and Ansible.
• Experience installing, managing, and supporting RHEL, CentOS, Rocky, Ubuntu, and other Linux-based operating systems.
• Experience with asset management and inventory tracking.
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet electrical safety standards.

Nice to have

• A+, Linux+, or Cisco Certified Network Associate certification.
