Project Execution Manager (Solar Hybrid)

What you will do

• Lead solar hybrid projects from late development and engineering through procurement, installation, testing, commissioning, acceptance, and handover.
• Oversee EPC schedules, milestones, budgets, contractors, subcontractors, and project delivery performance.
• Manage the technical integration of PV, BESS, EMS controllers, and gensets for reliable plant operation.
• Review and approve electrical, civil, mechanical, structural, geotechnical, as-built, and BoQ documentation.
• Lead EPC contract execution, including warranties, liquidated damages, variations, stakeholder coordination, and regulatory compliance.
• Build and lead multidisciplinary project teams while resolving technical and site issues through commissioning and closeout.

Requirements

• Engineering degree in electrical, mechanical, or civil engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of project management experience in solar power generation, power distribution, or large C&I EPC projects.
• At least three successfully executed solar hybrid projects exceeding 3 MWp, including BESS, from design through commissioning.
• Strong experience with EMS controllers, BESS, genset integration, SLDs, engineering drawings, BoQs, testing, and commissioning.
• Experience with EPC contract execution, liquidated damages, project scheduling, cost control, QA/QC, and HSES compliance.
• PMP certification, NEMSA Category A registration, NSE membership, and COREN registration.

Nice to have

• Experience with HOMER, PVsyst, or Helioscope.
• Knowledge of Nigerian grid codes, DISCO interfaces, and regulatory processes.
• CEM certification.
