Manager, Controllership & Treasury

Location: hirify.global Place, 181 Bay Street, Toronto, Ontario, Canada; onsite, full time

Salary: 120–140k annually

What you will do

• Oversee quarter-end and annual financial close, consolidations, intercompany eliminations, and consolidation adjustments across multiple legal entities.
• Prepare management reporting, financial analysis, presentation materials, and technical accounting memoranda for complex transactions.
• Lead treasury operations, including banking relationships, account administration, payment approvals, cash positioning, liquidity management, funding activities, capital calls, and distributions.
• Maintain internal controls, coordinate with internal and external auditors, and ensure compliance with hirify.global policies and applicable accounting standards.
• Oversee complex accounts payable issues, payment exceptions, vendor inquiries, and aged transactions.
• Drive process improvement and automation as the business owner for Microsoft Dynamics Finance processes related to treasury, accounts payable, and controllership.

Requirements

• CPA, CA, or equivalent preferred, with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 8–15+ years of progressive experience in treasury, controllership, accounting, or finance, preferably in asset management, private credit, or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or U.S. GAAP.
• Experience working independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment with limited established processes.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work onsite at hirify.global Place in Toronto.
