Finance Manager (Infrastructure)

Location: hirify.global Place, 181 Bay Street, Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Salary: CAD 120,000–140,000 per year

What you will do

• Review quarterly investor financial reporting, US GAAP financial statements, and fund and investment performance metrics.
• Review NAV packs and working papers prepared by external fund administrators for accuracy and completeness.
• Manage fund capital activity, liquidity, forecasting, investor queries, and compliance.
• Present significant quarterly transactions to senior management and coordinate accurate, timely information from external service providers.
• Review support for investor K-1s and Canadian tax TBs, prepare audit requests, and maintain control documentation.
• Analyze complex accounting issues, support reporting process improvements, and handle special projects and ad hoc requests.

Requirements

• University degree; business or accounting degree is an asset.
• Professional accounting designation such as CPA or CA.
• At least five years of progressive experience in finance and/or accounting functions.
• Experience in private funds, knowledge of investment management, and experience with complex ownership structures are assets.
• Demonstrated leadership, initiative, analytical ability, problem-solving skills, and strong motivation to achieve collective goals.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, complex, fast-paced environment, adapt quickly, and manage changing priorities.
• Superior oral and written communication, interpersonal, organizational, multitasking, prioritization, and deadline-management skills.
• Strong financial systems experience, including advanced Excel.
• Self-motivated and proactive in managing workload and professional development.
