Finance Manager

Location: hirify.global Place, 181 Bay Street, Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Salary range: $120,000–$140,000 per year

What you will do

• Review quarterly investor financial reporting, including US GAAP financial statements and fund performance metrics.
• Review NAV packs and working papers prepared by external fund administrators.
• Manage fund capital activity, liquidity, forecasting, investor queries, and compliance.
• Present significant quarterly transactions to senior management and coordinate with external service providers.
• Review support for investor K-1s and Canadian tax trial balances, prepare audit requests, and maintain control documentation.
• Analyze complex accounting issues, support reporting process improvements, and handle special projects.

Requirements

• University degree; business or accounting education is an asset.
• Professional accounting designation, such as CPA or CA.
• At least five years of progressive finance or accounting experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with financial systems and advanced Excel.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic, complex, fast-paced environment and manage changing priorities.
