TL;DR
Embedded GSOC Analyst (FTC) (Security Operations): Monitoring global events and security incidents, assessing threats, and producing timely alerts and risk reports with an accent on OSINT, SOCMINT, incident triage, and geopolitical analysis. Focus on coordinating incident escalation, tracking business travellers and assets, conducting safety check-ins, and forecasting security, health, climate, economic, and operational risks across rotating 12-hour shifts.

Location: London, United Kingdom. Hybrid schedule: day shifts are office-based, while night and weekend shifts are remote. The role requires rotating 12-hour shifts from 07:00–19:00 and 19:00–07:00, including weekends.

What you will do

  • Monitor global events, emerging threats, and security incidents affecting employees, assets, operations, events, reputation, and information.
  • Perform initial triage and assessment, communicate and escalate incidents, and coordinate responses with relevant stakeholders.
  • Track business travellers and client assets using global monitoring tools and conduct safety check-ins in high-risk, extreme, and remote locations.
  • Produce high-quality security alerts, scheduled and ad-hoc reports, threat assessments, risk forecasts, and key metrics.
  • Collaborate with the embedded GSOC team, security groups, client stakeholders, and personnel on the ground during alerts.
  • Establish, maintain, and follow GSOC standard operating procedures.

Requirements

  • Experience in a corporate security setting or a similar public- or private-sector environment.
  • Experience using open-source intelligence and social media intelligence platforms, tools, and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of current affairs, international relations, and emerging security threats, with the ability to analyse large volumes of information accurately.
  • Fluent English is required.
  • Strong written and spoken communication, attention to detail, organisation, prioritisation, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar productivity tools.

Nice to have

  • An additional second language.
  • Undergraduate or postgraduate qualifications in international security, intelligence, risk, geopolitics, or a related discipline.
  • Formal qualifications in business continuity, crisis management, security risk management, or a related field.
