Universal Banker - Float

Location: Manchester Center, Vermont, United States of America. Onsite branch role with frequent travel to different branches within a designated area.

Salary: $18.68–$31.14 per hour, USD.

What you will do

• Support branch customers as a teller and universal banker, completing transactions and servicing Consumer and Business Banking relationships.
• Educate customers on banking solutions, identify needs, make recommendations, and refer complex needs to appropriate banking partners.
• Hold scheduled and walk-in appointments, manage the lobby, resolve customer problems, and document customer interactions.
• Promote digital banking capabilities and proactively contact customers to support retention and relationship expansion.
• Assist with account opening, loan origination support, overdraft review, complaint resolution, and branch operational activities.
• Support AML, BSA, KYC, fraud escalation, internal controls, audits, and Federal SAFE Act registration requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and at least one year of retail sales, call center, customer service, or telesales experience.
• Ability to work in the Manchester Center, Vermont branch environment and travel between designated branches as needed.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to handle difficult customer conversations.
• Ability to serve consumer and small-business customers, prioritize effectively, manage time, and work under critical time constraints in a team environment.
• Proficiency with internet user-level technology and ability to stand for long periods, read fine print, and lift objects weighing 5–30 pounds.
