Financial Controller

What you will do

• Lead and develop the Retail Finance team, including offshore resources.
• Oversee month-end close, management reporting, general ledger journals, and finance procedures.
• Manage half-year and year-end statutory reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and AASB compliance.
• Supervise accounts receivable, accounts payable, and daily banking transactions.
• Support budgeting, capital expenditure management, M&A integration, system implementations, and business transformation initiatives.
• Partner with senior stakeholders and parent-group Finance and Tax teams on reporting, compliance, and business improvement.

Requirements

• Fully qualified CA or CPA professional.
• Experience as a Financial Controller, Finance Manager, similar senior finance leader, or Big Four professional.
• Demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong expertise in financial management, statutory and management reporting, financial controls, treasury, and banking.
• Experience implementing and improving financial systems, processes, and reporting frameworks.
• Strong business partnering, stakeholder management, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
