Team Lead Accounts Receivable (Finance): Leading the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Receivable function to ensure timely and accurate billing, collections, and reporting with an accent on team leadership and financial process optimization. Focus on minimizing aged debt, driving automation within Finance Shared Services, and maintaining strong cashflow through strict financial controls.

Location: Hybrid: 4 days onsite and 1 day weekly work from home in Sydney (Bond street NSW)

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and mentor the Accounts Receivable team to achieve performance targets and service level expectations.
• Oversee end-to-end AR processes, including invoicing, credit management, collections, and reconciliations.
• Act as the primary escalation point for internal stakeholders and external customers regarding billing disputes.
• Prepare and review AR dashboards, ageing reports, KPIs, and month-end submissions.
• Identify and implement efficiency gains and automation opportunities across Finance Shared Services.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, financial policies, and relevant accounting standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in Accounts Receivable or a related finance function.
• Prior experience supervising or leading a small team.
• Strong understanding of AR processes, credit management, and financial controls.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., TechnologyOne, Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle NetSuite).
• Advanced MS Excel skills and high attention to data accuracy.
