Program Chief Engineer (Technical Lead)

Location: Centennial, Colorado, United States. US citizenship is required. Limited local travel may be required.

Salary: USD 130,000–200,000 per year, depending on qualifications. Employees may also receive a year-end bonus.

What you will do

• Develop new digital architectures, refine existing architectures, and define technical requirements using microprocessors, ASICs, FPGAs, and memory technologies.
• Lead designs from initial specification through hardware delivery across box, module, board, FPGA, and software levels.
• Direct digital board design, including schematic review, signal and power integrity analysis, routing coordination, test planning, verification, and debug.
• Perform hands-on laboratory debugging with bench supplies, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
• Coordinate Hardware, Logic, Mechanical, Software, Manufacturing, Test, and Systems Engineering disciplines to meet customer requirements.
• Lead system integration, checkout, validation, environmental testing, and technical reviews throughout the program lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• 8+ years of design experience.
• Extensive knowledge of circuit design and signal integrity.
• Experience leading module debug and integrating modules into systems.
• Experience with environmental test methods, worst-case analysis, and integration and testing of digital boards, FPGA designs, and system software.
• US citizenship is required. Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and support less experienced engineers.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• Experience with digital or RF electronics design, schematic capture, FPGA design, embedded systems, single-board computers, or embedded software design.
