Senior-2 Engineer/Analyst/Consult (Utilities Privatization)

Location: Fort Wainwright, Alaska, USA; generally located across Alaska and the North America region. The initial work site is 1063 Gaffney Road, Fort Wainwright, AK, with remote work subject to change.

What you will do

• Support government oversight and administration of long-term privatized utility service contracts.
• Validate utility data and perform SCADA, GIS, metering, and asset-tracking analysis.
• Assist with invoice review, rate analysis, RCA pre-file data preparation, and CPIR and asset verification.
• Prepare technical documentation and provide daily support across installations.
• Maintain R&R tracking, data quality, and version control while coordinating accurate submissions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, Business, or Environmental Science.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in utilities, GIS, energy systems management, or related analysis.
• Experience with data analysis, GIS, metering systems, technical writing, and quantitative reasoning.
• Familiarity with NARUC USOA is preferred.
• Reliability, adaptability, attention to detail, collaboration, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and business data tools.
