What you will do
- Design, configure, and maintain complex LAN, WAN, wireless, and multi-site network environments.
- Configure and support Cisco firewalls, VPN concentrators, security appliances, routers, switches, and network virtualisation technologies.
- Support F5 load balancers and F5 Distributed Cloud services.
- Troubleshoot network hardware, software, telecommunications, and security systems.
- Maintain network documentation, service levels, ticketing workflows, and change management processes.
- Manage assigned projects and contribute to the 24/7 network on-call roster.
Requirements
- Demonstrated professional experience with networking technologies, routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and data links.
- Hands-on experience installing, upgrading, and configuring Cisco ASA and FTD network and security devices.
- Experience with F5 load balancers and F5 Distributed Cloud.
- Strong knowledge of LAN, WAN, and wireless network environments.
- Understanding of IP, Ethernet, ARP, Spanning Tree, VLANs, DNS, forwarding tables, and routing protocols.
- Experience with VPN technologies, network monitoring and diagnostic platforms, Microsoft Azure, and Amazon Web Services.
