Network Engineer (Cisco Meraki)

What you will do

• Own day-to-day administration and improvement of Cisco Meraki switches, access points, security appliances, configurations, firmware, monitoring, and access controls.
• Manage corporate circuits and carrier relationships, including service records, installations, renewals, outages, escalations, and vendor coordination.
• Administer corporate and guest wireless networks, troubleshoot performance issues, and support access point deployment and coverage initiatives.
• Own wired and wireless 802.1X configuration, authentication troubleshooting, certificate issues, and coordination with identity and security teams.
• Manage building-to-building connectivity, routing, uplinks, failover paths, site-to-site incidents, and disaster recovery testing.
• Administer ThousandEyes Endpoint Agents and coordinate network lifecycle, patching, vulnerability remediation, documentation, and technical debt tracking.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field with at least 5 years of related experience, an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki MX security appliances, MS switches, MR access points, Meraki Dashboard administration, configuration standards, and firmware management.
• Experience managing enterprise circuits and ISP or carrier relationships, including outage escalation and service reviews.
• Experience with enterprise wireless architecture, SSID administration, wireless troubleshooting, and 802.1X authentication and certificate management.
• Advanced knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, and VPN technologies, with strong diagnostic and log analysis skills.
• Fluent written and oral English and authorization to work for any U.S. employer are required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Netskope or similar SASE platforms.
• Experience with ThousandEyes or similar network monitoring and endpoint visibility tools.
• Experience with Portnox, Cisco ISE, or equivalent NAC platforms.
• CCNA, CCNP, Meraki ECMS, or equivalent certification.
