Senior Business Consultant | Change Management & Performance Management

Location: On-site at the client site in Washington, DC, United States, within the Mid-Atlantic region. Work is generally performed from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time, Monday through Friday. U.S. citizenship is required.

What you will do

• Lead organizational change management programs, including stakeholder analysis, change-impact assessment, training, communications, and adoption measurement.
• Design performance-measurement frameworks, KPIs, dashboards, reporting routines, and continuous-improvement methods for leadership.
• Support strategic planning, business-case analysis, process improvement, initiative management, and portfolio governance for U.S. Coast Guard mission-support programs.
• Assess internal controls and compliance impacts, manage risks and issues, and coordinate with finance and controls stakeholders.
• Modernize and sustain Microsoft Access-based tools through data architecture, database development, workflow improvement, testing, reporting, and user support.
• Prepare executive briefings, facilitate workshops and working groups, coach leaders, and document decisions, actions, best practices, and lessons learned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• PMP, DHS mid-level PM, Six Sigma Master Black Belt, or equivalent qualification.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience, or 5 years with a master’s degree or higher.
• Experience in the defense and security sector, change management, performance management, program management, and analytical support.
• Proficiency with project-management methodologies and business tools, including Microsoft Office; advanced Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word skills are preferred for the role.
• U.S. citizenship is required, and visa sponsorship for H-1B or TN visas is not available. Background checks, drug testing, and security clearance may be required depending on the engagement.
