Industrial Hygienist (Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, & Environmental Programs)

Location: Hybrid on/off client site in the United States, including Washington, DC; Clarksburg, WV; Quantico, VA; and nationwide field offices

What you will do

• Conduct advanced industrial hygiene exposure assessments, sampling, monitoring, and hazard analyses.
• Evaluate chemical, biological, physical, radiological, and ergonomic hazards in high-risk facilities.
• Recommend engineering controls and personal protective equipment to reduce workplace risks.
• Prepare technical reports and provide evidence-based guidance on occupational safety and environmental compliance.
• Develop and deliver occupational safety, industrial hygiene, and environmental training.
• Support the development and management of workplace occupational safety and health programs for federal clients.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of relevant industrial hygiene experience; federal industrial hygiene experience is preferred.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in science or engineering.
• Advanced knowledge of industrial hygiene principles and practices.
• Experience with sampling, data analysis, monitoring equipment, risk assessment, and technical writing.
• Top Secret security clearance is required before beginning work and must be maintained throughout the engagement.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Lists, and Power BI.

Nice to have

• Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) certification.
• Federal government or public-sector experience.
