Global Head of Large Load and Grid Transformation Research

Location: New York, US

Salary: $200K–$250K base pay annually, excluding short-term incentives and commission.

What you will do

• Define and lead the global research agenda for large-load growth, including data centers, EV charging, behind-the-meter generation, microgrids, grid interconnection, load flexibility, and virtual power plants.
• Develop high-quality research, datasets, and thought leadership that deliver actionable insights to customers and challenge conventional industry thinking.
• Lead cost, revenue, and long-term load-forecast modeling while standardizing methodologies across regional teams.
• Drive AI adoption across research teams to improve accuracy, efficiency, and research quality.
• Own the commercial development of large-load intelligence products and identify growth opportunities across existing and new offerings.
• Represent hirify.global publicly, collaborate with research, product, sales, and marketing teams, and support consulting engagements related to large-load sectors.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in the power industry, including at least 3 years focused on data centers.
• Deep expertise in data center trends, challenges, opportunities, resource needs, market factors, technology factors, project development, and interconnection.
• Experience in research or consulting, ideally combined with hands-on experience at a data center company, utility, or related large-load organization.
• Experience executing commercial strategies across marketing, sales, product, or related teams.
• Strong analytical, numerical, writing, public-speaking, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively across a highly matrixed organization and mentor team members.
