Workforce Research Analyst (Human Capital Analytics)

Location: Hybrid in Alexandria, Virginia, supporting client sites across the Mid-Atlantic region. U.S. citizenship is required.

What you will do

• Conduct workforce research, program evaluations, benchmarking, policy-support analysis, and structured data reviews.
• Gather, clean, and analyze workforce and human capital data to support enterprise decision-making.
• Support human capital analytics using Oracle Analytics Server and Tableau.
• Prepare research summaries, issue papers, analytic memoranda, comparison tables, annotated findings, briefing materials, and talking points.
• Assess policies, controls, requirements, reporting outputs, and compliance with federal human capital management practices.
• Support interviews, workforce planning, IT modernization, process automation, and integration of workforce planning tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in public policy, economics, business, sociology, human resources, analytics, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in workforce research, policy analysis, HR analytics, or related federal support functions.
• Experience with workforce research, data analysis, policy support, benchmarking, literature review, report writing, and briefing preparation.
• Strong analytical thinking, written and verbal communication, organization, collaboration, responsiveness, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with project management methodologies and tools and business software, including Microsoft Office; advanced Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word skills are preferred.
• U.S. citizenship is required; H-1B and TN visa sponsorship is not available. Background checks and drug testing may be required.
