Workers Compensation Specialist (Comcare)

Location: Onsite in Mascot, New South Wales, Australia

What you will do

• Manage workers compensation claims and support injured employees throughout recovery and return to work.
• Identify barriers to recovery and develop and implement appropriate claims strategies.
• Assess claim liability and benefit entitlements in line with legislative requirements.
• Maintain accurate, detailed, compliant records and ensure benefits are paid correctly.
• Prepare reports for regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders, and analyse data for risk mitigation recommendations.
• Collaborate with Health, Wellness and Rehabilitation, HR, Legal, Safety, and other business teams.

Requirements

• Experience managing workers compensation claims, ideally within the Comcare scheme.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent administrative, organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
