Safety, Health & Wellbeing Lead - SA/WA/NT (Retail & Hospitality): Leading workplace safety, health, and wellbeing programs across retail and hospitality operations in South Australia, Western Australia, and the Northern Territory with an accent on incident prevention, regulatory compliance, and team wellbeing. Focus on conducting ICAM root-cause investigations, analyzing incident trends, coaching site teams, and implementing practical risk controls across distributed venues.
Location: State-based across South Australia, Western Australia, and the Northern Territory; regular intrastate and occasional interstate travel required. Hybrid ways of working are offered.

What you will do
- Partner with state operations, brand managers, and venue and store teams to embed safety, health, and wellbeing initiatives into daily operations.
- Conduct Category 1 and 2 ICAM root-cause investigations, support Category 3 and 4 reviews, manage dangerous occurrences, and implement controls to prevent recurrence.
- Champion physical and mental wellbeing initiatives across the region.
- Support the Safety Management System, self-insurance audits, regulatory compliance, and engagement with WorkSafe and other regulators.
- Analyze incident trends to develop risk assessments, safety alerts, work instructions, and continuous improvement projects.
- Conduct new-site safety inspections, coach onboarding teams, and facilitate WHS training programs.
Requirements
- Minimum Certificate IV in Workplace Health & Safety; a Diploma is preferred.
- ICAM Certification and a current, valid driver’s license.
- Proven workplace safety experience with a strong understanding of retail and/or hospitality operations.
- In-depth knowledge of WHS Acts, Regulations, Codes of Practice, and hazard management principles.
- Experience with root-cause investigations, data-driven strategy, group training facilitation, and stakeholder engagement.
- Willingness to undertake regular intrastate and occasional interstate travel across the assigned Australian states and territories.
