Sr Attorney – Employment Litigation (CA)

Location: Hybrid in Irvine, California; candidates must live within a 50-mile radius and work from a hirify.global office several times per week.

Salary: $13,531.20–$18,267.12 per month.

What you will do

• Provide legal counsel, advice, review, and direction to departments and management at all levels.
• Advise on California employment, wage-and-hour class, and PAGA litigation.
• Handle pleadings, discovery, motions, trials, and appeals.
• Assess settlement and litigation strategies and support effective dispute resolution.
• Monitor federal, state, and local regulations and advise on proposed rulemakings.
• Help ensure that corporate legal obligations and regulatory requirements are recognized and fulfilled.

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admission to the bar and at least six years of relevant experience as a practicing attorney.
• California bar admission preferred for this position.
• Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Must live within 50 miles of Irvine, California and be able to work onsite several times per week.
• Ability to determine the appropriateness of settlement or litigation.

Nice to have

• Superior academic credentials and Big Law experience.
• Experience with RelativityOne or other e-discovery platforms.
• Experience using Lexis Protégé, Gemini, Copilot, or similar AI tools.
