BI Developer / Data Analyst (Business Intelligence)

Location: Hybrid in Alexandria, Virginia, working on and off the client site across the Mid-Atlantic Region. U.S. citizenship is required; H-1B and TN visa sponsorship are not available.

What you will do

• Build, configure, test, and maintain dashboards, reports, data products, workflows, automations, and integrations.
• Analyze business needs across National Science Foundation divisions and directorates through stakeholder interviews and process mapping.
• Translate business requirements into role-based analytics solutions for executive, managerial, and operational decision-making.
• Develop dashboards, analyze data, automate reporting, and enable self-service analytics.
• Support integration of IT systems and workforce planning tools for human capital analytics and IT modernization.
• Document deployment and support procedures and contribute to change management, user adoption, compliance, and service-level outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in data, IT, analytics, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of business intelligence or data analytics experience.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and reporting.
• Analytical thinking, data interpretation, teamwork, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with project management methodologies and tools, with strong organization, prioritization, and attention to detail.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to work in a hybrid Alexandria, Virginia arrangement are required.
