Senior Commodity Manager

Location: Wood Dale, Illinois, United States; hybrid with a minimum of 3 days onsite

Salary: $85,000–$100,000 USD per year, plus bonus eligibility

What you will do

• Manage $15M–$25M in material spend while optimizing costs and maintaining supply continuity.
• Develop and negotiate supplier contracts to reduce total cost of ownership and improve quality.
• Lead PPV and VAVE projects, RFQs, cost breakdowns, and cross-functional savings workshops.
• Improve working capital through inventory reduction, lead-time optimization, consignment, and 3PL solutions.
• Support manufacturing sites with supplier quality and delivery performance issues.
• Deliver measurable procurement results aligned with KPIs and strategic goals.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, supply chain, or a related field.
• Strong project management skills and financial acumen.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement with at least 3 days onsite in Wood Dale, Illinois.
