Senior Category Manager

Salary: $122,000–$164,000 per year, plus a bonus opportunity

What you will do

• Own and evolve sourcing strategy and category roadmaps for a global category.
• Analyze global supply markets, cost drivers, capacity trends, technologies, and supplier landscapes.
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Program, and Supply Chain teams to align sourcing with product roadmaps.
• Build strategic supplier partnerships, evaluate and onboard suppliers, and lead performance reviews.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery, contracts, and service levels while balancing cost and supply resilience.
• Identify supply risks and develop contingency strategies to maintain uninterrupted supply.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
• At least 12 years of experience in supply chain strategic sourcing, including at least 5 years managing global categories.
• Experience in a complex manufacturing or technology environment.
• Expertise in category management, strategic sourcing, supplier selection, commercial negotiations, and supplier relationship management.
• Ability to translate technical requirements into sourcing strategies and supplier decisions.
• Strong analytical, communication, influencing, data analysis, and presentation skills.
