Supplier Business Manager (Semiconductor)

Location: Austin, TX, United States. Relocation is not eligible. Travel required up to 10% of the time.

Salary: $88,000–$121,000 per year. The posted range represents target total cash for sales roles and may include base salary and target bonus.

What you will do

• Lead projects supporting supplier strategy and commodity strategy execution.
• Drive resolution of supplier issues affecting quality, cost, delivery, and lead time.
• Provide tactical procurement escalation support for assigned supplier sites and key sub-tier suppliers.
• Support commercial and technical cost-reduction programs.
• Execute supplier-site capacity readiness programs.

Requirements

• Conceptual and practical expertise in the relevant discipline, with basic knowledge of related disciplines.
• Knowledge of best practices and how the function integrates with other business areas.
• Ability to solve complex problems using information from multiple sources and apply sound judgment.
• Ability to explain difficult or sensitive information and build consensus.
• Ability to act as a resource for less-experienced colleagues and lead small projects.
