Senior Commodity Manager (Semiconductor)

Location: Somerset, New Jersey, United States

Salary: $122,000–$164,000 per year, plus a bonus opportunity

What you will do

• Own and evolve sourcing strategies and category roadmaps for a global category.
• Analyze global supply markets, cost drivers, capacity trends, emerging technologies, and supplier landscapes.
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Program teams on product and technology roadmaps.
• Evaluate, select, onboard, and develop strategic suppliers while conducting performance reviews.
• Lead negotiations covering pricing, delivery, contracts, and service levels.
• Identify supply chain risks and develop contingency strategies to maintain supply continuity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of experience, training, and education; MBA preferred.
• At least 12 years of experience in strategic sourcing and supply chain management.
• At least 5 years of experience managing global categories in a complex manufacturing or technology environment.
• Expertise in category management, strategic sourcing, supplier selection, and commercial negotiations.
• Experience translating technical requirements into sourcing strategies and working with cross-functional teams in engineering-driven organizations.
• Strong analytical, communication, influencing, supplier relationship management, and data presentation skills, including Excel and PowerPoint.
