EAP Consultant, Federal - Onsite/Hybrid in Los Angeles, CA

Location: Onsite/hybrid in Los Angeles, California, at the Fed LA Federal Building

Salary: $70,715–$113,145 annual base salary

What you will do

• Provide employee and management consultations on personal, workplace, and management concerns.
• Conduct EAP assessments, short-term counseling, critical incident response, orientations, webinars, and health and wellness trainings.
• Assess risk, substance abuse, dependency, and job-performance concerns, and refer employees to appropriate care and community resources.
• Manage a clinical caseload and complete timely case documentation according to quality and performance standards.
• Identify operational challenges and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build effective relationships across the organization and support team activities and training.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Behavioral Health.
• At least 5 years of clinical experience after receiving the graduate degree.
• Clinical training in chemical dependency, mental health, and brief therapy.
• Current independent behavioral health licensure, such as LCSW-C, LCSW, LMHC, LPCC, or LPC, meeting applicable state or customer requirements.
• Knowledge of workplace issues, employee-employer relationships, EEO, ADA, FMLA, and Drug-Free Workplace requirements.
• Competence in crisis intervention, solution-focused brief therapy, assessment, customer service, training, and active listening.
