Contracts & Supply Chain Management (C&SCM) SME

Location: Hybrid, with on/off client-site and virtual work in or near Aiken, South Carolina, across the Southeastern USA; possible onsite badging. U.S. citizenship is required.

What you will do

• Interpret federal contracting regulations and advise on compliance and contract alignment.
• Analyze contracts and requirements and translate them into optimized acquisition and supply chain procedures.
• Develop SOPs, process maps, templates, forms, terms and conditions, and other procedural artifacts.
• Support training, change management, operational deployment, and workforce enablement.
• Monitor performance, report results, drive continuous improvement, and sustain audit-ready compliance.
• Collaborate with program governance, project management, procurement, and cross-functional stakeholders supporting SRNS operations.

Requirements

• 12–15+ years of federal contracting experience.
• Deep Department of Energy and National Nuclear Security Administration expertise.
• Experience with contract law, FAR, DEAR, negotiation, procurement lifecycle activities, and regulatory analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree required; CPCM or NCMA certification preferred.
• Expert judgment, advisory capability, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with project management methods and tools.
• U.S. citizenship required; H-1B and TN visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• CPCM or NCMA certification.
• Nuclear and environmental management sector experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word; proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, Visio, and data analytics tools.
