Senior Platform Architect (Temporal)

Location: Remote within the United Kingdom; London preferred. Occasional travel is required for customer engagements and team events.

What you will do

• Own customer production readiness, activation, and the first production workflow.
• Establish guardrails and best practices for reliability, failure handling, scaling, upgrades, alerting, and cost optimization.
• Lead customer technical programs with KPI-driven success plans, readiness standards, governance, and training.
• Coordinate Professional Services, Support, Partners, and internal teams to deliver high-quality outcomes on schedule.
• Monitor long-term technical health through reviews, maturity assessments, observability standards, and production-readiness certification.
• Partner with customers, Growth Account Executives, and Solution Architects to drive adoption, renewals, and expansion.

Requirements

• Must reside in the United Kingdom; London is preferred.
• 6+ years of professional software engineering or solutions engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, workflow orchestration, and reliability engineering.
• Proficiency in at least one of Go, Java, TypeScript, or Python.
• Experience building, deploying, operating, and debugging production systems at scale.
• Strong customer-facing communication skills and experience creating technical documentation, runbooks, or training materials.

Nice to have

• Experience with hirify.global or similar workflow orchestration platforms.
• Experience with observability tools, Kubernetes, cloud platforms, or infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Background in professional services, technical consulting, or solutions engineering.
• Open-source or developer-community contributions.
• Experience designing and delivering technical training or workshops.
