What you will do

• Define and drive microservices architecture and engineering standards across multiple products and teams.
• Lead technical design for complex initiatives spanning Java, TypeScript, and Python services.
• Design and implement scalable event-driven systems using Kafka, SNS/SQS, and EventBridge.
• Architect serverless solutions and cloud infrastructure utilizing AWS/Azure (ECS, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3).
• Mentor senior engineers and collaborate with leadership on the technical roadmap and prioritization.
• Own the CI/CD strategy and DevOps practices to improve deployment velocity and reliability.

Requirements

• Expert-level proficiency in Java (Spring Boot) and TypeScript (Vue/React) for full-stack development.
• Deep expertise in AWS or Azure cloud services (ECS, Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, RDS).
• Proven experience designing and operating event-driven systems at scale.
• Track record of leading technical design across teams and driving architectural consensus.
• Strong background in system design, scalability, and reliability engineering.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid schedule in Atlanta, GA.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI/LLM integration (RAG, multi-agent workflows) or computer vision.
• Multi-tenant SaaS architecture design and implementation.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) expertise using Terraform or CDK.
• Experience in public safety or mission-critical domains.
