Design Consultant, South County San Diego (Interior Design)

Location: Miramar Rd, San Diego, CA, USA; primarily supporting South County San Diego territories. Candidates should live within a reasonable driving distance.

What you will do

• Design custom closets, cabinetry, home offices, garages, media centers, and other storage solutions using proprietary CAD software.
• Consult with customers in showrooms and homes, conduct needs analyses, and measure spaces.
• Use a consultative sales approach to achieve monthly and annual sales goals.
• Follow up with customers, pursue referrals and repeat business, and provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Collaborate with the installation team and participate in meetings and training sessions to support job completion.

Requirements

• Interior design education, direct industry experience, or a demonstrated passion for home décor.
• Consultative sales skills with a professional, assertive approach and the ability to promote products confidently.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and comfort using laptops, tablets, and other electronic devices.
• Creative, detail-oriented approach with a strong sense of craftsmanship.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and clients with different levels of complexity in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in Spanish and residence within a reasonable driving distance of the South County San Diego territories.

Nice to have

• Experience with CRM, CAD, or design software.
