Design Consultant (Interior Design)

Location: Miramar Rd, San Diego, CA, USA; primarily supporting North County San Diego territories. Candidates should live within a reasonable driving distance.

What you will do

• Design custom organization units using proprietary CAD software.
• Meet customers in the showroom and their homes to analyze needs, measure spaces, and develop storage solutions.
• Use a consultative sales approach to meet monthly and annual sales goals.
• Follow up with customers, pursue referrals and repeat business, and manage a portfolio of projects.
• Collaborate with the installation team and support projects through completion.
• Participate in meetings and training sessions.

Requirements

• Education in interior design, direct industry experience, or a demonstrated passion for home décor.
• Professional, assertive consultative sales skills and confidence promoting products.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and comfort using laptops, tablets, and other electronic devices.
• Creativity, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong sense of craftsmanship.
• Ability to create exceptional customer experiences, manage projects of varying complexity, and work effectively in a dynamic team environment.
• Full-time outside sales role requiring customer visits across North County San Diego.

Nice to have

• Experience with CRM, CAD, or design software.
