Finance & Accounting Task Author (AI Training)

Location: Remote for finance professionals based in Ireland

Compensation: Hourly contract with weekly payouts

hirify.global is building datasets of expert accounting tasks to train and evaluate advanced AI agents on enterprise financial work.

What you will do

• Create realistic accounting reconciliation scenarios covering payment-to-invoice matching, billing versus recognized revenue, and margin reports.
• Write scoring rubrics with exact numerical outcomes and required reasoning steps.
• Set up task environments using financial data, documents, and accounting system states.
• Solve and validate each task to confirm that the figures and rubric are correct.
• Calibrate task difficulty by adjusting data complexity, document ambiguity, and reasoning requirements.
• Review and correct AI-drafted prompts and rubrics.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience as an accountant, finance analyst, or in a closely related role.
• Strong numerical reasoning and experience with multi-step reconciliation problems.
• Knowledge of revenue recognition, matching rules, and standard accounting workflows; IFRS or Irish GAAP experience is welcome.
• Ability to define verifiable correctness criteria, including exact figures, reconciled balances, and variance explanations.
• Comfort working with financial documents, spreadsheets, and accounting system outputs.
• Professional finance experience in Ireland is required for this role.

Nice to have

• Experience in multinational, pharmaceutical, technology, or enterprise B2B finance environments.
• Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar ERP and accounting platforms.
• ACA, ACCA, CPA Ireland, or an equivalent qualification.
• Background in audit, financial controls, or revenue assurance.
