Assistant Controller (AI/HealthTech)

hirify.global is building an AI-powered health platform that combines lab testing, imaging, longitudinal health data, and clinical guidance to help members understand and improve their health.

What you will do

• Manage the general ledger, consolidations, accounts payable, payroll, and intercompany cross-charges across domestic and international entities.
• Design and implement scalable accounting policies, processes, and controls.
• Lead month-end and quarter-end close processes in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Optimize ERP, procurement, travel and expense, and other finance systems with an emphasis on automation and AI-driven efficiencies.
• Oversee international accounting and support global tax matters, external audits, and investor reporting.
• Build financial dashboards and reporting tools, and mentor accounting team members.

Requirements

• CPA or equivalent qualification and a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting and leadership experience, including Big Four and in-house experience at a high-growth B2C or technology company.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience with multi-entity, multi-currency accounting and international tax regulations.
• Experience with ERP systems, financial reporting tools, revenue recognition software, and integrated finance technology stacks.
• Proven ability to improve processes and apply automation tools such as AI reconciliation, OCR invoice processing, and automated close solutions.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States or Canada; the role is listed as U.S. remote.
