EMEA Accounting Manager (AI)

Location: Remote from Czechia or Slovakia, or onsite from the Central European offices in Bratislava, Prague, or Brno

What you will do

• Lead and develop a team of accountants across multiple jurisdictions.
• Own accounting compliance across 7 jurisdictions and 10 legal entities under US GAAP and local statutory GAAPs.
• Plan and manage statutory and external audits through on-time completion.
• Standardize accounting processes, controls, and workflows across entities.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI and automation to reduce manual work and improve accuracy.
• Partner with FP&A, Tax, Legal, HR, auditors, local advisors, and statutory authorities on close, reporting, and compliance.

Requirements

• Experience managing accounting operations across multiple countries or legal entities.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience with multiple local statutory GAAPs.
• Experience leading audits and managing external auditor relationships.
• Experience standardizing and improving processes in a multi-entity or multi-country environment.
• Strong people leadership and cross-cultural communication skills.
• Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.
