Schedule Analyst | Operations / Construction & Lifecycle Monitoring Support [DOE0059059]

Location: Remote within the United States, with on-site meetings and work at project sites nationwide; initially identified site in Washington, DC.

What you will do

• Review project schedules, critical paths, milestone logic, float, operational completion dates, variance trends, and delay risks.
• Support technical due diligence, credit evaluation, lifecycle monitoring, assurance, and construction oversight for DOE/LPO energy infrastructure financing.
• Evaluate project documentation, technical and commercial interfaces, assumptions, risks, mitigations, conditions precedent, and disbursement readiness.
• Prepare Primavera and Microsoft Project schedules, logic reviews, look-ahead schedules, milestone reports, delay summaries, and Independent Engineer work products.
• Coordinate with engineering, finance, legal, construction, operations, environmental, HSE, and project controls stakeholders.
• Participate in data room reviews, borrower and contractor interviews, site observations, monitoring meetings, risk register updates, and issue closure tracking.

Requirements

• 3–7 years of relevant technical, analytical, project controls, configuration, finance, or energy infrastructure experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, construction management, business, risk management, finance, or a related field.
• Experience with project schedules, critical path analysis, milestone logic, float, delay risks, technical due diligence, risk assessment, and report writing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel; familiarity with Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Adobe Acrobat, data analytics tools, and Visio.
• Must be able to support projects remotely from within the United States and attend on-site meetings or project-site activities nationwide.
• Ability to produce independent, traceable, technically defensible documentation for lender, credit, construction, monitoring, and certification decisions.

Nice to have

• DOE/LPO or federal energy program experience.
• Energy sector experience in oil and gas, power, utilities, or infrastructure.
• PMP, CQA, CIA, ISO Lead Auditor, CHMM, CSP, or PMI-RMP certification.
