Quality Engineering Technician I - Electrode, Days A-Shift (Lithium-Ion Battery Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Implement quality control systems for lithium-ion battery manufacturing processes.
• Inspect incoming cell parts, active battery materials, and chemical materials.
• Support quality control system development in the battery materials warehouse.
• Analyze materials input and output data to reduce defects and improve battery performance.
• Support materials audits of cell manufacturing processes.
• Follow required personal protective equipment procedures, including chemical and respiratory protection where applicable.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Familiarity with quality management tools such as control charts, FTA, and FMEA, as well as Microsoft Office.
• Practical experience with materials analysis, testing, and chemical analysis equipment.
• Associate’s or junior college degree in science or engineering is required or preferred.
• Experience with ISO 9001 quality management system auditing, statistical process control, and defect reduction in high-volume manufacturing.
• Valid authorization to work in the United States without restriction is required.

Nice to have

• Three or more years of quality technician experience.
• Background as a quality technician in high-volume manufacturing.
