Quality Control Technician (2nd Shift)

What you will do

• Perform receiving, in-process, and final product testing.
• Conduct hardness, tensile/compression, thermal conductivity, viscosity, density, and other specialized laboratory tests.
• Release incoming raw materials and finished products.
• Communicate with internal customers about quality issues and nonconformances.
• Collect and record Statistical Process Control data, prepare reports, and maintain compliance records and databases.
• Support Process and Quality Engineers with corrective actions, material batch testing, and daily Quality Department activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in a laboratory testing environment within Quality Control or Analytical testing.
• Experience with ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 Quality Management Systems is preferred.
• Ability to manage rejected material and assigned MRB activities.
• Strong communication, data collection, analysis, organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word; ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
