Risk Management Consultant | Compliance / Risk / Regulatory: Risk, Compliance & Independent Certification Support (Energy Infrastructure)

Location: Remote within the United States, with on-site meetings and project-site work expected; Washington, DC and nationwide U.S. project support.

What you will do

• Provide independent engineering advisory support for Energy Dominance Financing technical due diligence, credit evaluation, lifecycle monitoring, and assurance activities.
• Perform integrated project risk analysis, facilitate risk workshops, and develop mitigation plans, risk registers, and risk reports.
• Review project documentation, technical and commercial interfaces, assumptions, conditions precedent evidence, and disbursement readiness.
• Prepare probability-impact analyses, mitigation tracking, executive risk dashboards, and independent engineer reports.
• Coordinate with engineering, finance, legal, construction, operations, environmental, HSE, and project controls stakeholders.
• Support data room reviews, borrower and contractor interviews, site observations, monitoring meetings, draw package checks, and issue closure tracking.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant engineering, construction, operations, compliance, risk, finance, or energy infrastructure advisory experience.
• Experience with oil and gas, power, utilities, or large-scale infrastructure projects for owners, lenders, independent engineers, or federal clients.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, construction management, business, risk management, finance, or a related field.
• Experience with technical due diligence, enterprise and project risk frameworks, risk registers, mitigation plans, risk reporting, data room review, and information request tracking.
• Strong report writing, Excel-based analysis, stakeholder coordination, technical judgment, analytical rigor, and defensible documentation skills.
• Ability to work remotely within the U.S. and attend on-site meetings or project-site activities nationwide; a standard background check is required.

Nice to have

• PMP, CQA, CIA, ISO Lead Auditor, CHMM, CSP, or PMI-RMP certification.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word; familiarity with Adobe Acrobat, data analytics tools, and Visio.
