Infrastructure & Capital Projects – Senior Energy Consultant, ANS

Location: Houston, TX, United States; hybrid work with a mix of remote work, onsite client work, and time in an hirify.global office or center.

Salary: $120,000–$130,000 per year.

hirify.global Infrastructure & Capital Projects helps clients develop and deliver factories, grids, transit systems, public infrastructure, and energy capital projects using consulting, digital innovation, and AI.

What you will do

• Support workstreams across upstream, midstream, downstream, LNG, power, and renewable energy capital programs.
• Conduct research, data gathering, and analysis for recommendations on capital project execution, governance, and performance improvement.
• Develop client deliverables including presentations, models, trackers, and reports.
• Contribute to cost, schedule, risk, change management, and project controls activities.
• Support the use of digital platforms and AI tools for research, analysis, forecasting, scheduling, risk management, productivity, and quality review.
• Contribute to proposals, points of view, knowledge management, and other practice-building initiatives while collaborating with clients and onshore and offshore teams.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional experience, including internships, co-ops, or full-time roles in consulting, engineering, construction, or capital project delivery.
• Foundational knowledge of capital project delivery, project lifecycle, cost and schedule management, and project controls.
• Professional proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Data/Analytics, or a related field, or 5+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Willingness and ability to support global clients and travel as required.

Nice to have

• Experience with energy clients, EPCs, owner organizations, or capital programs.
• Familiarity with cost, schedule, estimating, risk, and change disciplines.
• Exposure to Sequence, Primavera P6, Aconex, Unifier, or similar capital project management information systems.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or Python and interest in AI and analytics use cases.
• Strong written and verbal communication, curiosity, initiative, and interest in consulting.
