Interface Engineer I (Healthcare Integration)

What you will do

• Analyze business workflows and gather technical requirements from business owners, clinical subject matter experts, application analysts, project teams, and vendors.
• Design and implement healthcare interfaces using the Infor Cloverleaf Interface Engine and Epic Bridges Interface Toolkit.
• Perform unit, functional, and integration testing, document results, and deploy approved changes through established change control procedures.
• Monitor interface performance, configure and review Bridges errors and work queues, and maintain the Epic Bridges toolkit.
• Support Epic Community Connect Partners through upgrades, new implementations, and ongoing interface maintenance.
• Share lessons learned and best practices while facilitating communication across implementation and support teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems with 8 years of related experience, or 11 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Infor Cloverleaf Level 1+ certification and/or Epic Bridges certification.
• Knowledge of healthcare interoperability frameworks including HL7, X12, and FHIR.
• Strong analytical, business analysis, workflow analysis, and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Up to 10% long-distance or air travel and occasional car travel to off-site locations may be required.
