What you will do

• Lead client-facing discovery sessions to translate complex payer and provider workflows into technical specifications.
• Design scalable integration workflows using APIs, HL7 FHIR, HL7 v2, X12 EDI, and SFTP.
• Produce source-to-target mappings, interface specifications, data-flow diagrams, and validation rules.
• Coordinate root-cause analysis for integration failures by reviewing payloads, files, and logs.
• Develop test scenarios and support unit, integration, end-to-end, and regression testing.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to improving integration standards and delivery processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience analyzing, defining, or implementing healthcare integrations.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, JSON, XML, and SFTP.
• Proficiency with healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7 FHIR and HL7 v2.
• Working knowledge of payer workflows, including prior authorization, eligibility, and claims.
• Experience creating technical design documents, mapping specifications, and workflow diagrams.
• Strong client-facing communication and facilitation skills.
