System Integration Engineer (Healthcare)

Location: Medical Office Building-Fort Worth, Texas; primary residence must be maintained within Texas

What you will do

• Develop, test, install, maintain, and debug interoperability and interface solutions.
• Integrate Epic Bridges, the Corepoint interface engine, GoAnywhere MFT, and related technologies.
• Design system specifications, modify system builds, map data, and establish interfaces.
• Develop and modify code, functions, programs, and routines for healthcare data exchange.
• Resolve and escalate integration issues while consulting with application teams, vendors, and customers.
• Document data policies, standards, procedures, and new data interchange formats.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; a BA/BS degree is preferred.
• At least one year of experience with an interface engine.
• At least two years of interface development experience using XML, HL7, FTP, or TCP/IP, preferably in healthcare.
• At least two years of direct healthcare experience preferred.
• Epic certification must be obtained within six months of hire, with two test retakes allowed.
• Primary residence must be maintained within the state of Texas throughout employment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Epic Bridges, Corepoint, and managed file transfer.
• Experience with business and technical requirements analysis and design.
• Analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
• Additional relevant industry certifications.
