TL;DR
Earned Value Management Specialist (Energy Infrastructure): Delivering independent engineering advisory services for large-scale U.S. energy infrastructure projects with an accent on earned value, baseline performance, cost and schedule variance, and forecast-to-complete metrics. Focus on reviewing project documentation, validating assumptions, preparing EV reports and project controls dashboards, and translating technical findings into lender-ready risk and financing decisions.

Location: Remote within the United States, with onsite meetings and project-site work expected; Washington, DC and project sites nationwide.

What you will do

  • Provide independent engineering advisory support for DOE Energy Dominance Financing technical due diligence, credit evaluation, lifecycle monitoring, and assurance activities.
  • Measure cost and schedule performance, progress curves, earned value metrics, baseline performance, and forecast variances.
  • Review project documentation, technical and commercial interfaces, assumptions, risks, mitigations, conditions precedent, and disbursement readiness.
  • Prepare EV reports, CPI/SPI trend analyses, baseline change reviews, project controls dashboards, and other lender-ready work products.
  • Participate in data room reviews, borrower and contractor interviews, site observations, monitoring meetings, draw package checks, and issue closure tracking.
  • Coordinate with engineering, finance, legal, construction, operations, environmental, HSE, and project controls stakeholders to support DOE and lender decisions.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant engineering, construction, operations, compliance, risk, finance, or energy infrastructure advisory experience.
  • Experience with oil and gas, power, utilities, or large-scale infrastructure projects for owners, lenders, independent engineers, or federal clients.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, construction management, business, risk management, finance, or a related field.
  • Experience with independent engineering review, technical due diligence, risk assessment, earned value, cost and schedule variance, forecast-to-complete metrics, data room review, and report writing.
  • Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills, with proficiency in data analytics tools, Adobe Acrobat, and Visio.
  • Ability to work remotely within the United States and attend onsite meetings or project-site activities nationwide.

Nice to have

  • PMP, CQA, CIA, ISO Lead Auditor, CHMM, CSP, or PMI-RMP certification.
