Bid Manager - Grid Consulting (Power Systems)

Location: Hybrid remote/office in Orlando, Florida, United States. Willingness to travel 10% domestically and internationally is required.

What you will do

• Lead large-scale power system consulting bids, managing delivery timelines, budgets, quality, and resources.
• Coordinate technical and commercial proposals to meet client specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Act as the primary client contact throughout the bid lifecycle and clarify project requirements.
• Collaborate with consulting, engineering, finance, legal, and international project teams.
• Monitor bid progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Track industry trends, technologies, regulations, and service development opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, power systems engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 8+ years of bid management experience in the power systems or energy sector.
• Experience with load flow, short-circuit, dynamic and transient stability, harmonics, and sub-synchronous control interaction studies.
• Experience writing and coordinating technical proposals and bids for power system projects.
• Knowledge of power systems standards, regulations, and engineering best practices.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
