What you will do

• Support expansion strategy and opportunity sizing for new APAC markets.
• Evaluate licensing paths, entity structures, commercial models, and market-entry operating requirements.
• Translate regulatory and licensing requirements into product scope and roadmap sequencing with Product and Engineering.
• Prepare recommendations for executive leadership on market prioritization, launch readiness, and investment decisions.
• Build AI-assisted tools, templates, dashboards, and reporting workflows for licence mapping, competitor analysis, risk tracking, and dependency management.
• Coordinate launch governance, including cross-functional sign-off, risk assessment, mitigation plans, and go/no-go decisions.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in top-tier strategy consulting, regulatory or financial services law, or strategy and expansion roles in fintech or payments.
• Exposure to market-entry or licensing-driven projects and complex, multi-stakeholder programs.
• Experience structuring multi-workstream programs, supporting governance cadences, and managing cross-functional dependencies.
• Demonstrated use of AI tools for regulatory research, licence mapping, competitive analysis, documentation, or workflow automation.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including executive updates and concise decision materials.
• High ownership, comfort with ambiguity, and willingness to work hands-on in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting APAC market launches or licence applications for fintech, payments, or financial institutions.
• Knowledge of payments, e-money, banking, or card-issuing regulation and licensing.
• Experience combining consulting with in-house operations, legal or regulatory work with commercial or product roles, or work in a CEO Office.
• Familiarity with cross-functional global expansion and product launch processes.
• Experience building lightweight AI tooling for launch management and automation.
