Learning Partner

Location: Chicago, Illinois; hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote

Base pay: $61,500–$136,100 annually, with eligibility for an annual incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Develop and execute education strategies aligned with business-line goals, learning methodology, and organizational culture.
• Build consultative partnerships with internal clients, subject matter experts, senior management, and workgroups.
• Analyze performance gaps and learning needs, recommend solutions, and evaluate learning and business outcomes.
• Design instructional strategies for instructor-led, web-based, and blended learning solutions.
• Manage multiple complex initiatives independently, including communication plans and project management activities for divisional and enterprise implementations.
• Coach and develop team members while maintaining strong client-facing relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Development or a related field plus 4 years of experience in instructional design or performance consulting, or 8 years of relevant experience.
• Consultative communication, negotiation, and professional visual, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Technical aptitude, analytical skills, and strong inductive and deductive reasoning.
• Ability to independently manage multiple complex projects and develop solutions to overcome obstacles.
• Experience analyzing information, evaluating results, and identifying appropriate solutions.
• Ability to apply adult learning theories and current instructional design trends.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Human Resource Development or a related field.
• Three years of learning and development experience in a corporate or business setting.
• Experience nurturing partnerships with internal and external customers, senior management, and subject matter experts.
