IT Business Analyst - Public Sector

Location: Remote with travel and onsite requirements; must reside in or around the greater Sacramento area, California.

Salary: $55,000–$75,000 per year.

What you will do

• Conduct business analysis across business platforms and review large datasets.
• Support enterprise IT system analysis and development, as well as major project phases and tasks.
• Prepare sections of client status reports, written deliverables, and other project materials.
• Participate in proposal writing teams and coordinate submissions.
• Collect project data and support project budget maintenance and client invoicing.
• Analyze federal and state policies, including federal funding requirements.

Requirements

• Must reside in or around the greater Sacramento area.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in consulting, IT, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, research, problem-solving, organizational, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to review IT systems, analyze policy and legislation, and work both independently and in a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Access, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Nice to have

• IIBA and/or PMI certification.
