Senior Consultant - Public Sector (New England Region)

Location: Primarily remote, but candidates must be located in the New England region; Boston, MA is listed as the role location. Some travel and office-setting work are required.

Salary: $88,300–$145,000 per year.

What you will do

• Develop and execute growth strategies while identifying sales opportunities and supporting client retention.
• Analyze federal and state laws, regulations, policy requirements, and compliance gaps.
• Review business operations and recommend service and efficiency improvements.
• Independently manage complex projects, staff, tasks, stakeholder requirements, and client communications.
• Facilitate client discussions, provide technical assistance, and prepare reports and other written materials.
• Lead proposal-writing teams and supervise business analysts, consultants, and client success teams.

Requirements

• Must be located in the New England region.
• Bachelor’s degree or 10 years of experience; 5–10 years of relevant work experience required.
• Strong quantitative skills and the ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
• Ability to research and interpret policies, legal briefs, federal regulations, and state regulations.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with project teams.
• Outstanding oral and written presentation skills, initiative, and demonstrated ability to identify new business opportunities and upsell to existing customers.
